More than 200,000 people enjoy a weekend of daredevil displays and family fun at New Brighton’s Wirral Show
DAREDEVIL displays wowed 200,000 visitors to the Wirral Show at the weekend.
The New Brighton event, one of the country’s biggest free shows, is now in its 33rd year.
The Yakovlevs aerobatics display team headlined the aerial part of the event, while a top motocross team, the Bolddog Lings, performed gravity-defying stunts.
The Royal Artillery’s Black Knights parachute team also dropped into the showground with pinpoint precision.
Show chairman Michael Emberton said: “It has been very busy and another excellent year for the Wirral Show.”
