IF YOU want to salsa you’d best get those dancing feet to the Floral Pavilion Theatre this weekend.
Salsa Libre has been running a monthly event at the New Brighton theatre since February 13 and will continue the dance lessons through to December.
All dancers, from beginners to experienced, are invited to this month’s event held on Friday from 8.30pm to 12.30am.
The dance classes will run until 9.30pm then you’ll be free to dance until after midnight to the tunes of Salsa Libre’s experienced DJ – Don from Salsa Inferno – who plays only the hottest Latin sounds.
The event organisers said: “This is a chance for you to feed your passion for Latin.
“It’s also a great way of getting fit, having fun, making new friends and just enjoying those seductive Latin rhythms.
“The new Floral Pavilion Theatre is a great venue and further dates have been confirmed, if you've not been, come and check it out.”
Classes are taught in a large, modern, air-conditioned room which has a brand new 150sqm sprung wooden dance floor and the bar is open all night.
The other salsa nights will be held on Friday July 10, August 14, September 11, and October 9.
Tickets costing £7.50 can be bought on the door or cost £6.50 if bought in advance from the Floral Pavilion box office by visiting www.floralpavilion.com or calling 666 0000.
