Weatherhead High film fest set to roll

WEATHERHEAD High is gearing up to show more than 80 films made by young people across the peninsula next Thursday, at Wirral Schools’ Film Festival.

In total, 70 schools have submitted entries, including those made by primary age children and high school students.

All of the films will be aired in public for the first time at the gala evening in the Susan Davies Theatre.

Six schools have also been shortlisted for a separate festival competition, with cash prizes up for grabs.

Films from Upton Hall School, Priory Parish Primary, Pensby Primary, Greenleas Primary, Prenton High and Bidston Avenue Primary can be viewed and voted on at www.wirraltv.net
