Wirral pair to cycle 890 miles for Help for Heroes

A PAIR of cyclists are planning to ride round the entire perimeter of Wales for chairty.

Paul Hanks, 36, from Heswall and his brother-in-law David Pye, 23, of Wallasey, will set off on Friday.

They will then cycle about 890 miles in ten days.

Mr Hanks said: “We intend doing the ride without any support vehicles and are planning on doing 90 miles a day and staying in tents for most nights.”

The pair are looking to raise the symbolic total of £2,821 for Help for Heroes to mark the number of days troops will have been in Afghanistan by the time the duo are due to return on June 28.
