New Primark store for Birkenhead?

PRIMARK is rumoured to be moving into Birkenhead’s former Woolworths store on Grange Road.

Town centre sources have told the News that the retail giant is considering making the shop a standalone store selling its range of homeware products, while its existing store next door would concentrate on clothing.

Wirral Council this week said it had no information on a new tenant for the store, while Primark declined to comment.
