Tallula’s, New Brighton, starts a fabulous new gay night every Wednesday from 9pm

TALLULA’S Late Lounge has launched a brand-new gay night with a spectacular drag act.

Faux femme, which is french for false women, is the name of the night aimed to bring more glitz and glamour to New Brighton.

Miss Tiara and Miss Dysney host the gay night at Tallula’s, Victoria Road, New Brighton from 9pm every Wednesday.

The fabulous duo mix cabaret, dance and comedy.

Miss Dysney, 20, of Wallasey, said: “I’ve always been a really good performer and have been an actress and singer my whole life, so it’s great to be part of this new drag show every week.

“I started my career in Destination, Liverpool, and you may have also seen me perform in Peggy Gadflys, New Brighton, because I was there for a while too.

“Miss Tiara has been a drag performer for 10 years and has a really good following – together we are fabulous.

“As well as our weekly shows at Tallula’s we will be putting on a one-off performance each month and will be joined by another glamorous guest.

“I’m a good party animal and one sexy dancer so if you want to join me and Miss Tiara donned in feathers and glitter costumes there’s only one place to be every Wednesday night.

“Even though this is a gay night it is open to everyone and is bound to entertain.

“Our first show last week was incredible and we are only set to get better.”

Tallula’s opened in May 2007 and is a comfortable bar decorated in a burlesque style.

Everyone is welcome in this place which serves swanky drinks and puts on top drawer live entertainment.
