WIRRAL CHEFS SHINE 2008: Dave's local suppliers

WIRRAL Chefs Shine 2008 is once again focusing on “home grown” and all our chefs have been asked to use seasonal ingredients - where possible sourced from local suppliers.

Our third finalist Dave Williams was asked to include watercress, tomatoes, cauliflower, blueberries and strawberries.

All meat in his menu is being sourced from Derek Massey of Heswall and vegetables from a supplier in West Kirby.

Wirral Chefs Shine 2008 is supported by Wirral Council, organisers of the Wirral Tourism Awards for Excellence, The Mersey Partnership, Liverpool Community College and Wirral Met College.
