The George pub in Higher Bebington has a great line-up of entertainment to get the party started.
Every Friday their resident DJ plays all the latest chart, RnB and dance classics. Plus exclusively for this Friday (January 31) will be Funky Fridays resident DJ featuring JFMC and special guest DJ Chris Blitz giving away free CDs.
Saturday (February 1) will have live music from Birkenhead band Filter House.
Then get Saturday, February 8 in your diary to see live act Tequila.
But don’t forget the Village Road pub serves home cooked roast dinners every Sunday, from 12noon until 6pm.

Renowned rockers pub the Swinging Arm in Birkenhead has a week filled with fun stuff but not forgetting its rock roots.
This kicks off with a quiz every Monday night, followed by jam nights on Tuesdays.
Wednesday nights are calling all bingo fans with a rock ’n’ roll theme, plus free pool can be played.
There will be Live music with Insanity Beach on stage this Friday, and Marvellous Medicine Band shaking it up on Saturday. Both nights also have a rock DJ and 12.30am bar.
This Sunday see the Mothership perform live, 5-7pm, followed by rock-a-oke from 8.30pm.
Travel over to West Kirby’s Rock Lobster and enjoy jam night every Monday with Sam Wise.
Every Friday and Saturday has DJs mixing up funk, disco, indie, soul and rock tunes.
The Grange Road venue televises all big games on large screens, and there is an extensive range of German bottled beers and jager shots for £1.50.
Resident band 10ft return to the Revolver bar for their Thursday night session, along with jam night. Stella is £2 a pint.
Birkenhead wouldn’t be the same without Fireball Friday! So in legendary fashion there will be DJ Mogsey pumping out rock tunes in the beer garden pavilion, and DJ Gav with rock and metal inside. Filter House plays another gig, but this time at the New Chester Road venue.
Admission is £3.50.
