FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fourth floor flat in Birkenhead after a metal shed was blown on to a balcony.
Crews were called to Warrington Street at about 12.20pm after a shed was blown over a six foot wall from a neighbouring balcony.
Firefighters dismantled the six foot by eight foot metal shed to make it safe.
Watch manager Andy Blythe said: “The shed was blown over a six foot dividing wall. It could have been blown onto the road below which was quite busy. The shed had not been secured or anchored properly.
"People should be aware of securing structures in place and should be aware of the effect of strong winds at height or surrounding tall buildings.”
