Unclaimed EuroMillions millionaire raffle ticket bought in Wirral

A EuroMillions raffle winner has only two weeks left to claim their £1 million prize.

The winning ticket was bought in Wirral and plucked out of a draw on Friday 27 July 2012 - the same day as the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.

The lucky ticket-holder has until Wednesday January 23 to make their claim or the prize money will go to National Lottery Good Causes, adding to its £29 billion fund.

A EuroMillions spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing price could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life and would certainly be a great start to 2013.

“Time is quickly running out so we’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look everywhere, a missing ticket could be hiding. Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.”

The lucky Wirralian could use the money to buy a Tranmere Rovers season ticket for the next 2123 years or a three year long stay in the Hillbark Hotel’s grand suite, including private Jacuzzi, four-poster bed and LCD TV.

It could buy a five-bedroomed mansion in Parkgate with open views across the Dee Estuary towards the Welsh Hills - and have enough left over to own three brand new Range Rover Evoque cars - manufactured over at the Halewood plant.

Other suggestions for splashing the cash include:

1150 round the world flights

126 round the world cruises

A private island in the Bahamas

A 110 ft private yacht

A EuroMillions spokesman said: “We’re ready to pop the champagne cork and have our fingers firmly crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

The winning raffle ticket is DZY093428
