Wirral’s youth heroes awards returns next year

AN AWARDS ceremony to celebrate Wirral’s youth heroes returns next year.

The Wirral Youth Heroes Awards is back for a second year, organisers have announced.

Nominations open on January 1 to March 31. The ceremony will take place at the Floral Pavilion on June 7.

Wirral organisation Youth For Christ (YFC) set up the awards to showcase those who do good in the community.

Martin Dickson, from Wirral YFC, said: “We have a new corporate identity and website.

“As well as the original nine awards, we will have a special category for adults who are an inspiration to children and young people in Wirral.

“This is in response to meeting the amazing parents, teachers and youth workers behind each of this year’s finalists.”
