Key Wirral road to re-open after bridge repairs

THE “Four Bridges” route across Tower Road in Wirral will re-open today following the completion of essential maintenance work.

The key route between Wallasey and Birkenhead is likely to re-open late afternoon following work to repair main bridge structures and apply new protective paint.

Wirral Council has apologised “for any inconvenience caused while the work has been taking place”.
