Santa switching on Irby’s Christmas lights on Friday (December 7)

SANTA is switching on Irby’s Christmas lights this Friday.

The event will start at 5pm, with carols and seasonal songs performed by Irby Primary and Dawpool Primary pupils from 5.15pm to 5.45pm.

Santa Claus will arrive at 6pm, joined by a costumed entourage on motorbikes.

There will also be a children’s grotto in the Irby Club, a barbecue and hog roast, coffee and mince pies in the Evangelical Church and dance displays at Irby Dance Studio.
