A CLUBBER was awarded £5,000 compensation after being attacked by two bar staff and a doorman outside a Liverpool city centre bar.
Glen Edgar suffered a ruptured testicle after being kicked in the groin outside Republik, in Bold Street.
The victim needed emergency surgery and lost one-third of one testicle.
Doorman Frank Whitby, 36, bar manager Liam Flaherty, 26, and bar worker Adam Leary, 22, admitted causing him actual bodily harm.
Liverpool crown court heard how Mr Edgar, who had been drinking, was put in a headlock outside the Bolt Street venue by a bouncer in the early hours of January 26.
After the bouncer shouted for help, Whitby, of Parkside Road, Birkenhead, and Leary, of North Drive, West Derby, came over.
Mr Edgar was knocked to the floor by knee strikes and a blow to the face.
Mike Stephenson, prosecuting, told how the victim suffered the injury to his groin “during the course of the incident”.
Judge Nigel Gilmour, QC, said: “The victim has been reassured that the injury does not affect his ability to procreate, should he wish to do so, though that is something that has played on his mind.
“For the rest of his life he will have an anatomical reminder, day in, day out, of the injury that he received.”
