Police issue warning after loss of prescription drugs in Birkenhead Grange precinct

MERSEYSIDE Police issued a warning to members of the public following the loss of a quantity of prescription drugs in Birkenhead Grange precinct yesterday afternoon.  

The medication consists of:   

21 x 5mg tablets of Nitrazapan and 14 x 10mg tablets of Diazapan

If you have found the lost medication please contact Merseyside Police on 101, or hand the medication in to your nearest police station. The drugs can also be handed in to your nearest chemist.

Merseyside Police would like to remind members of the public that the taking of medication prescribed for another person could be dangerous, and in some cases fatal.
