Man's body found hanging from tree in Wirral's Raby Mere Road

MERSEYSIDE Police can confirm that officers have been called to Raby Mere Road in Wirral this morning following the discovery of a man's body. 

Officers were called shortly after 7.15am by a passing motorist reporting seeing a man hanging from tree close to the road.

Police and paramedics attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Raby Mere Road has been closed in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid using this route while the emergency services are still on scene.

Enquiries are at an early stage in identifying the man and notifying his next of kin and the full circumstances surrounding his death will be investigated.
