THOUSANDS of runners will fill roads across Liverpool and Wirral tomorrow as the marathon makes its way around the area.
The marathon and the Wirral 10k will start at 9.30am on Park Drive, Birkenhead, before heading up Tower Road and Brighton Street towards Wallasey.
The 10k runners will reach the finish line on Coastal Drive, Wallasey, while marathon participants will turn round and head back along the promenade.
Just before the 12 mile marker runners will enter the Queensway Tunnel.
When they reach the city they will head up Great Howard Street before making a U-turn and travelling on to Princes Park.
The course will take them round Sefton Park and back up Princes Road to Parliament Street.
They will reach the finish line on Mann Island.
