Wirral Bus and Tram Show takes place in Birkenhead

FAMILIES took advantage of sunny weather to enjoy an annual transport festival in Merseyside.

Around 45 buses and 40 classic cars were on display during the 15th annual Wirral Bus and Tram Show yesterday, organised by volunteers at Wirral Transport Museum, in Birkenhead.

Among the attractions this year were a restored Southport Crossley and a rare 1949 Bedford Utility bus.
