Merseyside cabbies take blind children on their annual outing to New Brighton (GALLERY)

NEARLY 90 children were taken in taxi convoy on their annual outing to New Brighton.
Drivers from all over Merseyside decorated their Hackneys with balloons and ribbons for the Liverpool Taxi Drivers Blind Children’s Outing.
Pupils of St Vincent’s in West Derby and the Royal School for the Blind in Wavertree were chauffeured to New Brighton.

Retired cabbie Dave McCoy, 67, from Old Roan, has been taking part in the event since 1987.
He said: “The kids had a great time. They ate at the Floral Pavillion and enjoyed a day at the fairground and bowling alley. We have to thank everyone for their donations.”
