TWO men arrested on suspicion of assaulting a teenager in Wirral were released by police after it emerged he fell from a window.
The 36 and 41-year-olds were taken into custody after the 18-year-old was found unconscious outside a flat on Argyle Street, Birkenhead, at 7.05am on November 30.
He regained consciousness at the scene and was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital for observation but found to be unhurt.
He later discharged himself.
Merseyside Police said all three had been drinking and the men were arrested because there were signs of a disturbance and it was unclear how the teenager came to be lying in the street.
They were released without charge on Wednesday evening after he told detectives the incident was an accident.
Argyle Street, Market Street and Price Street were sealed off for more than an hour after the incident.
