ARE you a family who wants to explore your local habitats?
Look no further than the Wirral Wildlife Warriors Explore Birds In Winter session at Wirral Country Park on December 27 from 10.30am-12.30pm.
Each Wildlife Warrior event consists of an hour spent with the Ranger investigating special habitat, followed by a one hour trail for you to do with your children.
Return the trail to the Visitor Centre for a certificate and a small prize.
This is a fun way to learn together about local wildlife and get a bit of fresh air and exercise.
Families will learn how birds cope with the winter weather and give them a helping hand by making bird cakes. Please note participants will be handling nuts and seeds.
It is free but booking is essential because numbers are limited to 20.
