ROLL up your sleeves and join a beach clean-up in Thurstaston this weekend.
The event on Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, is part of the national Marine Conservation Society Beachwatch weekend.
Members of the public are invited to pitch in for a fun day to help clear the shore of litter and other unwanted debris.
Volunteers should wear suitable clothing and footwear.
The event, supported by conservation group ITPAS (Irby, Thurstaston and Pensby Amenity Society), is free. Gloves and bin bags will be provided.
Volunteers should meet ITPAS members, Valerie and Pat, in the public car park adjacent to Dee Sailing Club, Thurstaston, at 10am on either day.
