WHISPERY still lifes and atmospheric seascapes form part of a new exhibition at Hoylake’s Seagrass Studio through August.
The gallery welcomes West Kirby artist Helen Bennett for the next month after she enjoyed successful runs at the Art in the Gardens event in her home town, and the more recent Art on the Prom that featured as part of the inaugural Festival of Firsts.
Seagrass owner Jo Smith was so impressed with what she saw of Helen’s work, she decided to hand over her studio and gallery for a solo exhibition.
The graphic design graduate said: “My style is eclectic and inspired by the natural world, organic forms, patterns and shapes, movement, direction and light and dark.”
Helen uses acrylic and mixed media techniques to depict organic layers and create texture and movement in her work.
