Join the fun on Thurstaston beach

ARE you a family who wants to explore your local habitats? Why not attend one or all of three Wirral’s Wildlife Warrior sessions over the summer holidays.

Each Wildlife Warrior event consists of an hour spent with the ranger investigating a special habitat, followed by a one hour trail for you to do with your children. Return the trail to the Visitor Centre for a certificate and a small prize.

This is a fun way to learn together about local wildlife and get a bit of fresh air and exercise.

Tomorrow they’re taking a trip down to the beach for a seashore search, to check out the mud and look for fossils. Then they’ll complete the trail and enjoy the wildlife on the way.

It’s free but booking is essential on 0151 648 4371.

The session runs at Wirral Country Park, Station Road, Thurstaston, Wirral, CH61 0HN. Email wirralcountrypark@wirral.gov.uk
