Liz, who is to star in Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of The Worlds, spoke to show bosses for their help and a raffle prize has been donated to the campaign.
Dad Ian said Amy and her 15-year-old sister Rebecca had been his rock since his wife’s death. He told the Wirral News last Christmas: “I am so very, very proud of Amy.
“Both of my girls have been so strong.”
Amy recently moved celebrities to tears at the Pride of Merseyside Awards where she won a Child of Courage award and a standing ovation.
