l PREPARATIONS are now well underway for Knowsley Flower Show, the largest free horticultural event in the North West.
The show takes place on Sunday August 8 at Court Hey Park, in Huyton.
The Mayor of Knowsley, Cllr Diane Reid, has teamed up with last year’s show winner Chris Bright to encourage Merseyside to get gardening in the run-up to the flagship event.
Retired teacher Mrs Bright, from Widnes, joined Knowsley’s Mayor to show off her own horticultural skills and announce the events lying in store at the show, which attracted more than15,000 visitors last year.
