Pensioner is barred from Wirral sheltered housing accommodation
The housing association said it had made numerous attempts to help Ms Morrish and liaised with her solicitors, Wirral Alcohol Service and Wirral Social Services, but she had failed to curb her drinking.
Geoff Redhead, chief executive of Cosmopolitan Housing Group, said: “There is no place in any Cosmopolitan home for someone who behaves in this way, least of all in sheltered housing which is intended to offer a safe and happy environment for older people.
“This woman has been offered considerable support to deal with her behaviour but she has failed to do so. We cannot and will not tolerate verbal or physical attacks on our residents or staff.
“Cosmopolitan would like to thank Merseyside Police and our legal advisers Brabners Chaffe Street for their help and support in dealing with this case of extreme antisocial behaviour.”
