Pensioner is barred from Wirral sheltered housing accommodation
A PENSIONER who threw plates and paintings at staff and residents has been barred from a sheltered housing home.
Cosmopolitan Housing Association had previously secured an injunction with powers of arrest against Beryl Morrish, 67, after she assaulted the manager of Vincent Naughton Court in Birkenhead.
But on June 21 she was arrested after attacking a neighbour and a cleaner.
The housing association returned to Wirral county court this week to have the injunction amended.
The court heard how her attacks on staff and elderly residents included verbal abuse as well as throwing plates and paintings at people.
Ms Morrish, who the court was told has a drink problem, is now banned from the home for 22 months and has been forced to return her keys and will be jailed if she breaches the ruling.
