Great green activities in Wirral this week

THURSDAY sees the History on the Doorstep workshop at Wirral Country Park.

It promises to be a fascinating walk around the parish of Thurstaston, finding out about the History of the area and the Titanic connection.

Dogs allowed but must be on a lead.

Meet at the Wirral Country Park Visitor Centre, the session runs from 11am-12.30pm.

DISCOVER the delights of Bidston Hill on a ranger led guided walk.

From its Triassic sandstone foundation, and its Viking colonisers to its Victorian Protectors.

This gentle circular walk is suitable for the whole family to enjoy, and will include a brief look at the geology, the rock carvings, the Observatory and Lighthouse, and the flora and fauna.
