Charities receive Wirral Egg Run cash at presentation day

MORE than £26,000 was raised through this year’s Wirral Egg Run which has been divided between a number of good causes.

The Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Alan Jennings, handed over the money at a special presentation day at the Blue Anchor, Hoylake on Sunday.

The bulk of the money went to:

l Ronald McDonald House – £5,000.

l Stick and Step – £4,393.

l Claire House – £4,450.

l Wirral Autistic Society – £1,250.

l Wirral Narrowboat Trust – £2,000.
