Birkenhead affordable housing specialist Lovell expands maintenance arm with Powerminster acquisition

LOVELL, the affordable housing specialist with offices in Birkenhead, is bolstering its maintenance division with the acquisition of a complementary operator.
Powerminster Gleeson Services is part of the MJ Gleeson Group and will join the Lovell group in a deal for an undisclosed sum.
It will transfer all its contracts, including a £29m, 31-year contract to provide facilities management services for five extra care housing schemes in Cheshire, and its 178-strong workforce to Lovell Respond, the equivalent service.
