Police release efit of man wanted in relation to Wallasey theft

E-fit in realtion to handbag theft in Wallasey

POLICE want to speak to this man following a handbag theft in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A 36-year-old woman was left shaken after being confronted as she walked through an alleyway that connects Monk Road and Wilton Street in Wallasey.

The woman, who was said to be very upset but uninjured, was walking from the direction of Liscard Road.

The offender, who had been seen earlier walking along Liscard Road, ran off in the direction of Monk Road.

He is described as white, aged between 17 and 19, of slim build and approximately 5ft 10inches tall with short, spiky hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a zip up top with light and dark patches.

Detective constable Neil Ogden, of Birkenhead CID, said: “This was a very upsetting incident for the victim.
