A HOYLAKE resident has been issued with an interim ASBO following a catalogue of alleged anti-social behaviour.
Wirral Anti-Social Behaviour Team (WASB), working in partnership with Merseyside Police, took action against Kay Diamond, 39, formerly of Grove Road, Hoylake, following repeated complaints of anti-social behaviour including fighting, drunkenness and the use of foul and abusive language in and around Market Street, Hoylake.
Diamond signed up to an Acceptable Behaviour Contract in January 2010, agreeing to not to engage in unacceptable behaviour.
Following further instances of anti-social behaviour, an application was made for an Anti-Social Behaviour Order.
At Wirral Magistrates’ Court on June 18, Diamond was issued with an interim Anti-Social Behaviour Order pending a full hearing.
Diamond has been ordered not to enter an area in Hoylake bounded by Market Street, Alderley Road, Grove Place, Back Seaview and Trinity Road.
If Diamond breaches the interim ASBO, she faces up to five years' imprisonment.
A full hearing will take place on 19th July 2010.
