VOTERS still unsure who to vote for can find out which candidate shares their beliefs the most thanks to a new online tool.
Hundreds of candidates have returned questionnaires sent to them by Democracy Club, a network of thousands of volunteers who selected local and national issues which were important in constituencies.
The answers have now been placed on democracy website www.theyworkforyou.com.
Voters unsure of who to vote for can go to their constituency and mark down their thoughts on the issues raised in their constituency. The website will then reveal what local candidates who took part said, and reveal which candidate's views are most aligned to the voter's personal choices.
Seb Bacon, founder of Democracy Club, said the organisation had received a lot of responses from Labour and Lib Dem candidates, along with strong support from many of the smaller parties.
Only the Conservatives had refused to take part in many cases, with volunteers who chased up their Tory candidates receiving a standard email reply that said the party fel the questionnaire 'simplified polices'.
