Money raised from the Wirral Coastal Walk will help support people with dementia and their carers.

Crossroads Care Cheshire West & Wirral is looking for enthusiastic walkers who can fundraise in support of its Cameo (Come and Meet Each Other) groups in the borough.

The groups aim to offer support to people with dementia and their carers by providing a place in which people can meet and socialise.

Lucy Whiting, director of fundraising and marketing, said: “Many carers and their families describe the groups as a lifeline that they simply could not function without.

“We are desperate to raise funds to continue this essential support service for people with dementia and their carers.”
