Inquest finds Moreton Councillor Suzanne Moseley died from a brain haemorrhage

A COUNCILLOR found dead at her home had suffered a brain haemorrhage.

Worried colleagues at HBOS Bank called police after Suzanne Moseley failed to arrive for work last September.

An inquest at Wallasey Town Hall heard the 47-year-old training manager had been off work with flu-like symptoms for part of the week before her death.

Ms Moseley, of Bradgate Close, Moreton, Wirral had returned to take a seminar in Manchester on Tuesday, September 15.

She was due to work from home on the Wednesday, but that evening colleagues were unable to contact her.

Coroner’s officer Arthur Flower said: “On the morning of Thursday, September 17 two colleagues went to her home around 9.45am. Her car was still on the drive, the curtains were closed and the downstairs light was on.”

“It was discovered that the front door was closed but unlocked, however her colleagues waited for paramedics to arrive.

“She was found in a sitting position in her kitchen with her back against the wall and her head slumped forward.”
