HOLLYOAKS’ youngest star swung into action at a new green project in Merseyside.
Ten-year-old Ellis Hollins, who plays Tom Cunningham, was among the guests of honour to mark the completion of Knowsley council’s play pathfinder programme, a £4.36m two-year project to bring 28 exciting and dynamic natural play spaces to the borough.
Joined by children at Copthorne Adventure Playground, in Kirkby, Ellis tried out the many attractions at the Peter Pan themed play space, giving his seal of approval to the sunken pirate ship, slides and zip wire swing.
The government-backed play pathfinder programme is aimed at offering children and young people the latest in natural outdoor play. With the summer fast approaching, there has never been a better time to play. Find out more at www.knowsley.gov.uk
