ALL-STAR Wrestling is bringing its spring season to a close at Pacific Road Arts Centre on Friday (April 23).
Stars including Wirral-based Dean Allmark, ‘Liverpool Lad’ Robbie Brookside and American Avalanche P.N.Neuz will battle it out in four individual matches and then join forces in a four-a-side elimination team event.
Londoner James Mason, Superslam heavyweight title holder ‘Bad News’ Brown, Mexican El Ligero and noted hard man Robbie Dynamite are also on the bill.
Dean Allmark will be renewing his rivalry with former British title holder Mason, who upset the fans with an unprovoked out of the ring attack on the home favourite earlier in the year. One-time Scots Guardsman “Highlander” Drew McDonald is another man with a mission and is determined to defeat the Avalanche.
Robbie Brookside also has a spot of unfinished business when facing Yorkshire submission specialist Brown after voluntarily relinquishing his title due to knee injuries last year.
A spokesman for All-Star Wrestling said: “This will be the last wrestling event with the Pacific Road Complex in local authority control but we will be back in the autumn.”
Tickets for the event include a £35 family offer for two adults and two children under 16.
They will be on sale at the door from 6.30pm or in advance from the box office on 666 0000.
