Wirral mediums in UK’s best medium competition North West final

TWO Wirral clairvoyants have made it into the regional final of a competition to find the UK’s best medium.

Karen O’Neill and Joseph McEwan are among six finalists set to battle it out for a place in the Grand Final, at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Southport on March 12.

Each finalist will give readings to audience members, as well as being set challenges by a panel of judges.

Joining Karen and Joseph in the North West final is Paul Deleth from Blackpool, Anne Knight from Stockport, Jenny Moore from Wigan and John Featherstone from Blackburn.

The judges include Merseyside based medium and writer, Billy Roberts and historian and paranormal investigator, Richard Felix, as well as psychologist Dr Matthew Smith.

But it won’t all be down to the judge’s decision.

The audience will also help decide the winner by voting for the contestant they find most impressive.

Dr Matthew Smith said: “As there are six mediums giving messages, not just one, there is a much greater chance for individual audience members to receive a message.

“The competition is a unique opportunity to question mediums about what they do, and to vote for who you think is the best.”

Competition organiser, Edd Felix added: “We’re going to find the next psychic superstar.

“It’s Britain’s Got Talent meets The X Factor of the paranormal world.”

Tickets are available, priced £15, for the night at the Prince of Wales Hotel, The Promenade, Southport on Friday March 12, from 7.30pm.
