Man’s body found near Bidston station in Wirral

A BODY was found in marshland close to Bidston Station on Sunday.

Police called to the scene at around midday discovered the body of a man, thought to be in his 50s.

The scene was cordoned off while forensic officers carried out an investigation. The body was removed from the scene at around 4.30pm. He has yet to be formally identified.

A post mortem carried out on Sunday evening confirmed that the man had suffered a heart attack and his death was due to natural causes.
