TWO people fell ill after taking prescription medication bought from a pub in Birkenhead.
Police are investigating after two men visited a Birkenhead pharmacy last Friday saying they felt ill after buying the medicine.
They said they purchased pills from a male customer in a pub in the area.
It is believed the drugs being sold, which may have been stolen, are Furosemide diuretic tablets.
They are round and white in colour with “F40” imprinted on them.
The tablets should not be taken by anyone they are not prescribed for and could prove dangerous is taken without a proper prescription.
