Water and oils prove a good mix

A FEATURE of the Heswall landscape since 1980, Dee Fine Arts is exhibiting the work of oil and watercolour painter, Ivan Taylor.

Originally from Staffordshire, Ivan’s work takes in local scenes and places them alongside those from further afield whether Chester, Venice or Paris.

Dee Fine Arts proprietor, Sue Webster told Wirral Arts: “His watercolours really capture the local scenes brilliantly, particularly the sky, which can be the most wonderful subject matter in Wirral.”

And Dee Fine Arts, which has been in Sue’s hands for three years, is always on the lookout for new, local artists as long as their work is commercially viable.
