Work has started on an extention at The Ark homeless shelter in Birkenhead

The Ark project, which started in 1992, has shown the light to thousands of people who, because of circumstances, found themselves without a home.
As well as the Mary Cole House, it also runs six move-on houses in the community and a dinghy renovation social enterprise, which offers training and worthwhile work to homeless residents of the Ark and other local hostels.
