Wirral’s Summer Holiday guide will keep children active

THERE’S no need for your children to be bored this summer, as an activity-filled programme has been prepared for them.

They can take part in arts, crafts or design, drama, dance and performance, sports, library activities, ranger-led activities based in parks, outdoor leisure activities, water sports, science and maths camps, holiday play schemes, trips, visits and events including gallery and football stadium visits.

The activities, which range from half hour to whole week sessions, run from now until Friday, August 28.

Councillor Phil Davies, Wirral’s cabinet member for children’s services and lifelong learning, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for children and young people, of all abilities aged three to 16.”

The Summer Holiday Guide is available to view at www.wirral.gov.uk.

Just click on Education & Learning in the left hand column, then Extra-curricular Activities, then choose your district.

Copies of the summer guide are also available for reference in libraries and One Stop Shops.
