TELEVISION viewers across Wirral should ready themselves for November 4, when the analogue signal will begin to be switched off.
Digital UK is charged with making sure viewers across the peninsula are aware of the date, now less than 100 days away.
A series of roadshows, running between 9am and 5pm, begin at Hoylake Lifeboat Station on August 18, followed by Church Road car park in Bebington on August 19, Neston Market on Brook Street on August 21, Liscard Way, Wallasey on August 22, May Road car park in Heswall on August 24 and outside Birkenhead’s Pyramids Shopping Centre on August 25.
So far, 75% of households have converted their televisions to digital, using freeview, satellite or cable connections. Help is also available from BBC’s Switchover Help Scheme, call 0800 408 5906 – alternatively visit helpscheme.co.uk for more information.
