Honorary degree date for actress Pauline Daniels

BIRKENHEAD-BORN actress Pauline Daniels is to receive an honorary degree from Liverpool John Moores University.

The star will accept her award at Liverpool Cathedral in recognition of her outstanding and multiple contributions to the performing arts.

She will don her cap and gown tomorrow, Thursday July 23, with students of the Faculty of Education, Community and Leisure.

Pauline made her name as the first female comic on The Comedians.

In 2007, she set up the Liverpool Academy of Arts Actor’s Studio on Seel Street, a fringe theatre group.
