Golfers raise £6,5000 for Hoylake Cottage Day Care Appeal

GOLFERS at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club teed off to raise £6,500 for the Hoylake Cottage Day Care Appeal.

Teams from local businesses took part in a charitable tournament, followed by a dinner and auction.

The event was won by a team from Coulter Hurst and raised £6,500 for the appeal.

The main sponsors were Credit Suisse and Beech Jones de Lloyd.

Auctioneer for the night was Rob Farnham of Bradshaw Farnham and Lea.

Hoylake Cottage fundraising director Helen Latham said: “Everyone had a great day in the magnificent surroundings of the Royal Liverpool Golf Club. I’d like to thank everyone who supported the event and helped us raise such a fantastis amount for our appeal.”
