Birkenhead mum jailed for dealing drugs from family home

A MOTHER-of-three was jailed for dealing drugs from her family home.

Lisa Lundstram was locked up for two years after officers watched her selling cocaine in the kitchen of her house in Prenton Dale Road, Birkenhead, where she lived with her children.

But Liverpool crown court heard she only resorted to dealing to try and raise enough funds to flee from her violent ex-partner Kevin Roberts.

As reported in the ECHO in December last year, Roberts was jailed for two-and-a-half years after he stabbed a 15-year-old boy as he tried to attack Lundstram.

The court heard Roberts, of Rock Lane West, Birkenhead, went after her with a knife and even targeted her again after being released on bail.

Gareth Bellis, defending, told the court Lundstram was placed under protection, had panic buttons and security cameras fitted in her house.
