A&A Marketing wins contract with St Helens Council

WIRRAL-based A&A Marketing has won a contract to supply St Helens Council.

The Birkenhead firm supplies promotional “fads and widgets” including ballpens, mousemats, coffee mugs, coasters and umbrellas. For more than 21 years, the company has supplied branded promotional items and business gifts to councils and organisations across the country.

It was established in 1987 by Freddie Almond, a former Liverpool Publicity Association chairman, from the family’s front room.

Since 1998, it has been run by his son, Andrew, who now operates the firm from offices and studios in Hamilton Square.

Even in today’s current economic climate the company continues to be busy. Andrew comments: “In times like this, our products and services are one of the first thing companies spend money on in the hope of getting their sales moving again.”
