Police called after Birkenhead jewellers burgled

POLICE were called to a burglary at Pykes the Jewellers in Birkenhead this morning (June 11).

It is understood no-one was hurt in the raid which happened at the shop on Grange Road at around 10am.

It is not clear at this stage what was taken in the raid.
